Hudson James Human Capital Group is proud to be supporting a leading FMCG organisation in Leicester with the recruitment of a Financial Accountant. This opportunity has been created through internal progression and as such, offers scope for significant progression.
As the finance function goes through a period of development and expansion, my Client requires a resilient, technically astute Qualified Accountant to step into the role and really take ownership of the position. My Client would therefore consider applications from FMCG/Manufacturing candidates as well as a 1st time move from Practice.
This role is an urgent requirement with Interviews concluded by the end of the year.
As Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly accounts pack including investigation & explanation of overhead spends
- Management of Sales & Purchase Ledger Roles
- Support Cost Centre Managers with understanding of actual spend versus budget
- Maintain all balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly VAT returns
- Overview and sign-off of Supplier reconciliations
- Preparation for and lead in both Internal & External Audits
