Financial Controller
Global leader in their field require a Financial Controller on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 15 months.
The role:
Management of the finance team of 8
Overseeing the month end process, production of the monthly financials for group including Profit and Loss Statements and group balance sheet.
Overseeing and assisting budgets and forecasts for the group at entity level
Preparing and overseeing the annual accounting packs and tax packs.
Overseeing and assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts
Management of interim and year end audit process and liaising with auditors.
Overseeing the corporation tax computations
Monitoring of accruals and profitability.
Assistance with the monitoring of the AR and AP departments
Assistance with ad-hoc reports and projects.
The winning candidate:
You must be a qualified accountant (CA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
You should have good commercial experience and the ability to work with operational divisions.
The right candidate will have excellent Excel and good systems skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Confidence to challenge and offer suggestions for process improvements.
Experience of management and motivation
