Financial Controller

RK are seeking an ambitious Financial Controller for a well-established and growing property company in the Centre of Leeds. As Financial Controller you will be responsible for the day to day finance function as well as working closely with the Directors and Operational teams, providing them with an important commercial perspective to aid in key decision making. This role has the potential to become a Finance Director in future.

Ideal candidate profile:

*Operated at Financial Controller level (or similar) and able to demonstrate career progression
*Ideally property or construction experience
*Strong evidence of overseeing day to day accounts functions and team leadership
*Hands on experience of financial reporting at a detailed level, not just been a small cog in a large organisation
*Strong evidence of commercial awareness and adding value to the business
*Can demonstrate business partnering with operations and senior management
*Able to demonstrate how you have contributed to growth in turnover and profits
*Must be a self-starter and able to find solutions to tasks
