Your new company
A world renowned Media Company based in the West End is recruiting a newly qualified (ACA Top 4) Senior Finance Accountant who is available immediately for a 9-month contract. You will be working for a vibrant Media Company, which is rapidly growing and working on new exciting projects. This role is perfect for newly qualified Top 4 ACA's looking to make their first move from practice into industry.
Your new role
You will lead the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP. You will also be the technical expert in making sure internal and external audit requirements are met. Additionally, you will have a lasting impact by analysing profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow. You will ensure all balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliations are completed as per SOX requirements. Moreover, you will prepare monthly & quarterly variance analysis and commentary.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be available immediately/on short notice and be newly qualified ACA from a Top 4 practice looking for your first exciting role within industry. You will be able to work both in a team and on your own. You will also have good knowledge of UK GAAP and you will have strong excel skills (Pivot Tables & VLookUps). You will have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with senior stakeholders.
