This leading International Bank is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis to join its dynamic finance function. You will assist the Deputy Manager and the CFO with the running of the finance function.
The main duties will include:
- Check Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss on a daily basis
- Make sure proxy accounts are cleared
- Checking and verifying that payments are made in respect of charges
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Opening office accounts
- Providing assistance with regulatory issues including Basle
- Assist Deputy Manager and CFO in preparing reports and returns
- Ensuring Corporation tax is completed
As the ideal candidate you will be PQ, QBE or fully qualified accountant with experience working in a diverse accounting role within an FS or banking environment.
