Senior Finance Analyst

Athwal Resourcing is currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the corporate finance team of a large reputable established business based in the Midlands. Reporting directly to the Director of FP&A, the main focus of this role will be to provide finance analysis for the corporate head office for the Global businesses. You will be instrumental in supporting the Director of FP&A in the production, consolidation, analysis and review of the global management information, forecasts, budgets and strategic plans.

• Management Reporting - Assisting in the production and interpretation of the flash monthly reporting pack and in timely distribution to senior managers, production of daily sales reports;
• Forecasting and budgeting - Development and maintenance of templates and models using excel and Hyperion Financial Management in order to capture planning data effectively and efficiently;
• Consolidation, review and analysis of country forecasts in order to understand trends and changes in financial performance, working with individual controllers to improve the quality of information and making recommendations to improve processes;
• Assistance with the production of board presentations;
• Working closely with sales teams to ensure timely and accurate input of forecast data, consolidation, review and analysis of country forecasts.

The ideal candidate will:

• Qualified accountant with strong demonstrable FP&A skills;
• Advanced spreadsheet Excel modelling skills and with proven ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently;
• Knowledge of Hyperion/HFM would be an advantage;
• Good attention to detail;
• Experience of multi-site and multi-currency organisation;
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business.
