A housing association based in the City of London are looking for a permanent Systems Accountant to join their team. The Systems accountant will work with the Senior IT team and software system to ensure all practices are consistent and accurate.
The key duties of his position include:
- Maintaining the finance IT Systems and ensuring all plans are monitored
- Key point of contact for any system upgrades and changes and any implementation plans run smoothly
- Improve system processes and change requirements
- Streamline processes
- Evaluate change and plan for implementation processes
- Safeguarding the Finance IT systems
- Provide training to staff
It is essential that candidates are fully qualified ACCA/ ACA or CIMA accountants with system implementation experience. Candidates will also need financial and management accounts experience and be able to identify solutions to reduce risk.
