My client is a international group and are keen to attract a high calibre Group Financial Controller to their Midlands H/Q. Reporting to the Group FD, the Group Financial Controller will support the global business.
Overview:
- Improve and standardise internal and external reporting
- Developing best practice and functional excellent in financial control processes (SOX)
- Drive continuous improvement
- Delivering a timely and accurate consolidation and group reporting process (USGAAP)
- Conduct balance sheet reviews
- Co-ordinating quarterly, and annual reporting
- Manage the relationship with external parties (company secretarial, statutory, audit, tax, VAT)
- Supporting internal audit, treasury and shared service centre
Candidate:
- Experience in a european/global business
- Qualified (ACA, ACCA ideally)
- Technically strong, with a practice background
- Exceptional attention to detail
