Finance Manager Job - French Speaking

Global company based near Watford is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their central Finance team. This specific role is looking after the France region for this international company.

With a strong focus on analysis and reporting, this Finance Manager role will require you to provide analysis and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to keep the wider business informed on the impact of your analysis/reporting.

Key Responsibilities;

• Responsibility for the accurate recording of all operating expenses for each of the entities in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensuring month­end review and reporting supports the close process
• Support the OPEX Controller in resolving queries relating to operating expense related queries
• Ownership of the OPEX processes and results, including balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure month end reconciliations are completed timely and accurately; reconciling items are appropriately investigated and actioned
• Provide direct input into various ad­hoc projects that require understanding and fixing control issues that arise; thereby developing strong analytical and deduction skills

To be successful in your application it is beneficial to have;

• Part/Qualified accountants (ideally ACA/CIMA)
• Strong analytical, report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of the general accounting processes within a large business
• Good ERP/Accounting system skills - ability to utilise general functionality and keen to develop ability to extract raw data as required when working on adhoc projects
• Good Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables; Filters; formulas)
