Finance Analyst

Financial Planning Analyst, Reporting into the Head of FP&A and responsible for financial planning, modelling and analysis across multiple projects.

This large global charity based in central London is present in over 100 countries, providing services to these countries to improve their education and culture. This organisation has been in operation for nearly a century and sustainability is maintained through a commercially focused organisational model with not-for-profit objectives in mind. Effective financial planning is now a key area of focus given the environment that not-for-profits exist in. As grant funding diminishes, there has been a key focus on the commercial side of the organisation to generate significant revenue alongside other not-for-profit projects.

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

• Detailed financial modelling and manipulation of large data sets to provide clear decision making information to non-finance stakeholders.

• Working with the Head of FP&A and Head of Pricing on commercial analysis of pricing strategy for all products.

• Provide clear summaries of regional month end / forecasting

• Support and improve the organisations planning and forecasting process

• To provide a responsive ad hoc analytical service to the leadership team in collaboration with Head of FP&A.

Profile

You will be a fully qualified CCAB accountant with strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting skills that can be evidenced through experience. An ability to produce financial modelling and manipulate large data sets is also required for this role. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are beneficial, as is knowledge of SAP.
