Operations Director

An exciting opportunity for an Operations Director to join a well known practice in London.

You will have exceptional communication and project management skills and to ensure that strategic initiatives are implemented and operational matters are dealt with as efficiently and effectively as possible.

This is a challenging and vibrant role which will provide the opportunity for leadership and decision making.

You provide management, leadership, strategy, innovation and execution of strategy.

This role will involve areas of business transformation, succession planning and support processes on a firm wide perspective. This is a national role reporting into the Head of Audit and taking ownership of a key strategic business area of the firm.

You will:

Work with Leadership team and Partners to ensure HR and People functions are implemented and supported nationally

Manage HR Projects e.g. employee survey, retention, absence, coaching, initiatives, leadership development, award schemE

Act as coach for change management

Responsible for Audit Quality Database

Develop and standardise resourcing practices and processes

Introduce alternative, innovative, practical and cost effective solutions to meet talent management demands

Review headcount projection

Work with HR to manage secondment opportunities and international transfers

Set and monitor progress against business and individuals objectives

Manage national appraisal process

Manage salary budget and collate benchmarking

Managing transformational change programmes

You will be:

Educated to degree level or equivalent

Excellent influencing, relationship building and communication skills.

Excellent project management and leadership skills

Strong and proven coaching skills

Ability to recognise and develop talented individuals

Experience of finance management.

Previous senior operations management experience.
