We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Assistant Finance Manager for our client - a highly regarded,Wirral based leading law firm - in a role with responsibility for all aspects of management accounts, financial reporting, auditing and asset management for the group.
Working closely with the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and the group reporting pack
  • Variance Analysis with commentary
  • Development of Month End processes, controls & procedures
  • MI and KPI analysis & reporting
  • Cash flow reporting & control
  • Preparation of annual statutory financial statements
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Working closely with the CFO & Finance Manager
  • Ensuring Accounting the Finance Function operates in line with the relevant Standards, Accountants Reports Rules and Tax Legislation
  • Business Planning

Applicants will be fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Management Accountants with post qualified experience in the areas highlighted above. Our client is really looking to consider candidates with previous experience in the legal sector, and an up to date knowledge of SAR (Solicitors Accounts Rules) but will also consider candidates who have the capacity to quickly develop an understanding of the legal sector. Candidates will ideally have previous experience of using IRIS and Sage Forecasting and must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills, a good attention to detail and good organisational skills.
