Page Personnel are exclusively recruiting an Assistant Financial Controller for a National Business Services Organisation. This position is to lead the on-site accountancy function based in a fantastic location in the Harrogate area.

Client Details

The client is a hugely successful National Business Services Organisation with a great site in Harrogate. They have secured a number of key contracts and they require an established accountant to lead this accountancy function in a stand alone Assistant Financial Controller position.

Description

As the Assistant Financial Controller you will report into the Group Accountant, your duties will include, however are not limited to: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all financial returns for weekly and monthly accounts, Provide relevant and timely information to support operations and central functions, Maintain and develop financial control reporting system at the site in line with company and client requirement, Provide commercial financial support to Business Unit Managers and Contract Director, Ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting, Analyse effectively all in unit costs, Strive to reduce all types of business costs whilst pursuing quality and innovation, Ensure the site remains compliant.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have worked in a management accountant/finance manager previously - Essential
• Be studying towards an accounting qualification - Essential
• Have strong knowledge in budgeting and forecasting - Essential
• Be able to deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders - Essential
• Be confident in reporting to board members - Essential
