Our client is a leading provider of global investment research and portfolio analysis applications and operates from its headquarters in central London and offices in the US and Canada.

The company provides portfolio analysis and marketing analysis services and research facilities for global institutional investment professionals, including asset owners, managers, advisors and consultants. The company specialises in offering holdings-based style, structure, risk and performance analysis of investment portfolios and currently serves more than 300 blue-chip institutional client across 28 countries around the world. The services are delivered on a Saas-based platform that supports a range of devices.

With 100% subscriptions-based recurring revenues, Saas deployment, and strong cash flow, the business has double-digit growth over recent years and is accelerating its expansion following an MBO last year. Accelerated growth it targeted in their operating markets; UK, Europe, Asia and North America, via additional investment into headcount (doubling) in Sales, Marketing and Development, as well as a 10-fold increase in marketing spend.

Description

You will work closely alongside the financial controller and CFO, playing a key role in driving the finance team forward and bridging the gap between the rest of the business. You will have the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts

• Manage the group monthly consolidation

• Investigation of all budget / plan variances

• Treasury and cash management (including bank recs)

• Production and maintenance of ARR & Win/Loss Report

• Production of annual statutory accounts

• Responsibility of Company Secretarial requirements

• Overseas VAT and sales tax compliance

• Manage the company insurance programme

• Leverage and development of financial systems

Profile

You must be an experienced, hands-on, qualified accountant who enjoys taking responsibility for financial operations and developing them as appropriate. This role also requires strong attention to detail accompanied by a desire to work in a highly effective, well-controlled and efficient operation.
