Management Accountant

Management Accountant- new role- Qualified - Wiltshire


Hays Senior Finance is currently recruiting on behalf of a medium sized US owned business. Due to a recent acquisition, the business requires an additional qualified Management Accountant to work in the local finance team

The role will report into and assist the Financial Controller with tasks to be performed and also projects for UK and the Northern European Region on an ad-hoc basis. This role has full responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day financial accounting and reporting for the newly acquired entity.
Duties include;

• Completion of Management Accounts
• To produce information and analysis for presentation to senior management. To include period end routines, journal input and all required control account reconciliations.

• Monthly sales reporting and analysis
• Monthly commentary on P&L and Balance Sheets ie Other Costs of Sales, Expense and Working Capital
• Cash flow management, administer the cashbook and forecasting
• Act as payroll back-up
• Issue Inter-company recharges as required
• Credit control. Follow up any invoice not paid within terms and obtain payment.
  • Purchase orders. Match invoices received against purchase order receipt and enter onto system.Make payments to suppliers in accordance with Credit Terms.

Prepare monthly commission report for payment to sales managers.To produce weekly sales numbers and provide data to group colleagues in a timely manner.


Suitable candidates will be qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with relevant experience. Strong communication skills. Excel skills to look up/pivot table level
