An opportunity for an ACCA/CIMA Qualified Finance Manager has arisen within an organisation in Worcestershire. The role requires a well rounded qualified Accountant with experience both commercially and in the monthly reporting arena. The company require a savvy addition to the team; someone who focusses on the why as well as the what, where, when and how.

The purpose of the role is to provide management oversight to all aspects of monthly reporting, as well as to conduct value adding analysis and to prepare budgets and forecasts for presentation to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Management oversight of all aspects of Receivables/Payables/Credit Control/VAT/Fixed Assets/Accruals/Prepayments /Job costing/Customer profitability Analysis/IFRS compliance/Cost Centre management & Productivity reporting
* Profitability Analysis including preparing, consolidating and analyzing forecast data provided by operations, and converting into financial (client by client) profitability analysis within a shared user facility
* Responsible for accurately forecasting the profitability of the business model on an annual basis with re-forecasts quarterly.
* Development and continuous improvement of a management system (dashboard) to proactively ensure that forecasted profitability is achieved
* Supervise and develop the reporting and monitoring of Distribution of departmental cost centre spending and activity based costing. Ensure line management accountability and countermeasure as necessary.
* Prepare and present financial modeling scenarios
* Supporting the development of the annual business plan & budgetary cycle.
* Support financial modelling of charge/cost proposals; governance of proposed new or contract amendments to mitigate risk and financial exposure
* Preparation and support for client review meetings where applicable
* Month end closing of management accounts and reporting local management
* Statutory and external reporting.
* Ensuring adherence to Group Guidelines.

You will be required to be flexible in this role and must be prepared to perform other tasks and undertake additional duties in any area of the business as determined by Management. These tasks may be outside your normal work area

Key Attributes:
* ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualified
* Commercial experience; budgeting, forecasting, analysis etc
* Experience preparing management accounts
* People management experience
