Our client are a leading construction, property and services group and are looking for a PAYE & CIS Compliance Manager.
As the PAYE and CIS Compliance Manager you will report to the Group Head of Tax. You will be responsible for the PAYE Expenses Compliance Assistant and CIS Compliance Assistant, and be responsible for monitoring PAYE and tax compliance in relation to employee expenses processing, as well as taking overall responsibility for the CIS returns compliance processes and ensuring all processes are carried out in accordance with performance and quality standards set out for the Group Tax function.
You will be primarily responsible for the timely delivery of Expenses audits, data gathering and analysis as well as the timely delivery and compliance of CIS Tax returns and payments. This includes driving internal review work on specific expenses transactions/trends, administering the Expenses policy, managing the query resolution and data request process, auditing/interrogating Employment Status Review, review of labour agencies and PAYE compliance, and CIS scope assessments.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following.
Significant experience in accounting processes, experience in a range of accounting areas, financial computer systems and knowledge of accounting legislation Expert knowledge in CIS tax and PAYE employment taxes as relevant to role - ability to understand complex tax positions and manage complaint solutions accordingly Knowledge of Oracle and MS Office (strong Excel skills to vlookup and pivot level as a minimum) Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships Analytical skills with detail orientation Strong leadership and personnel management skills Experience supervising teams, ideally within a service delivery function environment, within a complex business or group Excellent organisation and time management skills Strong verbal and oral communication skills
