Our client is one of the UK's most successful independent media agency. They are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their central London based accounting team.

Management Accountant - Media Agency - 30k-35k - London - Responsibilities

Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:

• The preparation of the monthly management accounts up to trial balance
• Providing assistance with year-end audit
• Liaise with key stakeholders to prepare regular event forecasts and annual budgets
• Monitoring and analysing capital expenditure projects
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are reconciled on a quarterly basis
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns/EC sales lists/Intrastat returns
• Ensuring intercompany transactions are accounted for and invoiced accordingly
• Working with AP/AR teams to ensure coding of transactions and financial information within SAP is accurate
• Checking bank reconciliations

Management Accountant - Media Agency - 30k-35k - London - The ideal candidate

• Media experience strongly preferred
• A progressive attitude, excellent communicator and keen attention to detail

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience of working in industry to monthly reporting deadlines
