Fund Accountant

One of Europe's finest Private equity firms is looking to recruit a Finance Executive, responsible for Core Company and Fund Finance, whilst gaining exposure to commercial work such as the valuation process, dealing with investor queries and transactions.

This will allow you to work with an interesting range of stakeholders including investors, the investments team, investor relations, and the management teams of investments.

Your main responsibilities would include:

• Producing management accounts and audited financial statements for the London-based adviser, fund entities and other intermediate holding companies, and working on quarterly investor reports
• Maintaining and updating fund performance metrics
• Operational accounting - calls and distributions, regulatory and other returns
• Budgets and forecasts
• Ad-hoc projects including funds flows relating to investment and realisation events
• Investor queries
• Liaison with fund administrators and the various external auditors
• Investor tax reporting
• Portfolio business monitoring activities
• Annual valuations of the portfolio businesses

This will suit a newly qualified accountant (or equivalent), who wants to start a role in Private equity where they can learn the entire business, with career aspirations of becoming a FD or CFO of a Private Equity firm.
