Cost Accountant

This Cost Accountant opportunity is an excellent role for a part qualified accountant to join a global innovative business and support exciting business growth. This role will fit into the FP&A team and will manage a portfolio of products to identify trends and protect profit margins in a competitive market. This role is highly analytical and will play a big part in business decisions.

Client Details

Page Personnel are working in partnership with this huge brands to support a restructure within its finance head office - Warrington. This excellent brand name have a well-known brand portfolio with long standing relationships and contracts across Europe and America. Working for this business you will have insight into the 3 key business areas and learn how they all interlink, you will be the middle point for financial knowledge and pull the information together for FP&A reporting.

Description

This Cost Accountant role will include the following within its wide remit;

*Reviewing, bidding and tender documentation validation

*Financial modelling

*Pricing and forecasting based on market trend / country / customer

*P&L reporting

*Budgeting

*Forecasting and variance reporting

*Support with management accountants at month end

*Billings and Journals

*Analysing business trends and fully taking ownership for a portfolio of active contracts

Profile

This Cost Accountant role will require;

*Excellent academics, Graduate / AAT currently studying CIMA or ACCA

*Excellent Microsoft excel knowledge, minimum requirements - Vlookups, Pivots, If Analysis and general manipulation of large volumes of data

*Strong accountancy software skills

*Commercial business experience

*Confident in your knowledge to impact the business and support business decisions with new and planned ideas

*Able to positively implement change

*Able to travel to Warrington (Not easy by public transport)
