Management Accountant

A great opportunity for an established Management Accountant to join a well-regarded education and training provider based in North Yorkshire, reporting direct to the Financial Controller.

The purpose of this role is to ensure effective financial and management accounting across the education and training provider by:
*Developing and enhancing the management accounting function in order to meet the future business needs of the education provider and to add value
*Providing greater financial visibility through the development of comprehensive, timely and accurate management accounting
*Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of effective planning, reporting and control systems
*Maintaining and developing resource budget monitoring and acting as a point of contact to staff regarding all aspects of budgeting

Excellent communication skills will enable you to build effective relationships within the wider organisation and explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues, proactively addressing budget issues arising from the management accounts.

You will have proven experience of producing accurate and timely management accounts together with advanced IT Skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Accuracy, thoroughness and being able to work under pressure is essential to the role.

You will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) ideally with a background in Further Education with good awareness of current and prospective technical accounting and reporting requirements.

The Package:
*Up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
