Financial Controller

The SF Group are exclusively recruiting a Financial Controller to join a Engineering business based in Leicestershire. This business is going thorough a significant period of change and is looking to hire a Qualified Accountant who can operate in a hands on controller. The successful candidate will have a clear path way to becoming part of the senior management team and the title of Finance Director within a twelve month period.

The role will suit a who doesn’t want to be just a number in a large organisation but get involved with all aspects of accounts in a growing division of a global group. You will be working closely with the Sales and Operations Team therefore you must be a confident communicator at all levels.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Produce monthly forecasts and communicate these to relevant stakeholders
• Establish a strong controls environment
• Generate monthly reporting pack
• Prepare the annual budget
• Produce the year end accounts
• Provide analysis and review of strategic plans
• Finance Lead on multiple projects
• Stock control, with complex costing work

Skills and experience:

• ACA, ACCA OR CIMA Qualified
• Proven experience in a Financial Controller Role
• Experience with SAP
• Manufacturing experience
• Strong financial awareness
• Ability to successfully manipulate data and provide accurate and timely reporting
• Strong Commercial acumen
• Excellent forecasting and budgeting skills
