We are recruiting for a well established and successful business in the Warwickshire region. They are a stable business and have a long term growth plan. Within their finance team this company is looking for a team leader to manage the credit team that focuses on aged debt recovery.
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing a team of credit specialists who each have portfolios allocated to them.
- Managing the metrics and setting targets for the team in line with the company credit policy.
- Having input in to any changes to the credit policy in conjunction with other team leaders and the credit manager.
- Coaching and developing the credit team.
- Training new starters and workforce planning in relation to aged debt reduction targets.
- Using the system (JDE) and Excel to prioritise debt and to allocate work to the team.
- Working with senior management and the credit controllers to design better ways to collect outstanding aged debt.
Experience required:
- You will either be a team leader or a senior credit controller who has experience coaching and developing a team.
