Finance Manager (French Speaking)

An exciting organisation in the hospitality sector based in London is recruiting for a French speaking Finance Manager to join their team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you'll be responsible for several direct reports, and ensuring that robust controls and processes are in place.

Job Overview/Duties

• Being accountable for the production of the monthly management accounts; accounting for payroll, commenting on the results and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Developing a robust financial control environment including identification and implementation of improvements to policies, procedures and financial reporting systems.
• Managing the AP/AR and financial reporting teams.
• Review and approve payments for all locations.
• Ensure the group is fully compliant with local tax regulations; submitting all returns and remitting the correct tax.
• Managing statutory audit for all entities in this multi-jurisdiction group and support external accountants
• Report the group results to our parent company.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, PSPs.
• Business partner senior personnel.
• Supporting the launch of new cities and strategic growth.

Skills and experience

• Qualified Accountant (UK or European)
• Strong controls and process improvement background
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Inquisitive and analytical mind, you thrive on tackling complex problems, and constantly building and refining process with rigour and diligence.
• Not afraid to challenge the status quo.
