The Role

Due to recent growth, Robert Half Financial Services are looking for a Graduate Trainee Accountant to work for a leading insurance company to work out of their central London office.

The purpose of this role is to assist the Finance Manager in meeting expense and payment processing; journal entries; balance sheet reconciliations (Bank and Accounts Payable); finalisation of reinsurance payments/receipts; solvency II and SOx Cash & Bank and Accounts Payable process narratives; invoicing; expenses; adhoc queries; assisting with cashflow forecasting; journal entries; assisting with statutory accounts; VAT; balance sheet and fixed asset work.

Your Profile

To be considered for this Graduate Trainee Accountant role for this insurance company based in central London, no work experience is required, however, an relevent internship is desirable and you must meet the following criteria:



 Recent university graduate from a Top 15 university, ideally with a first or upper class second

 At least 3 A levels (or equivalent) at grade A or B.
