Group Financial Controller 

Our client is a global first class provider of software to some of the biggest companies in the world. A market leader in the provision of leading edge technology this is an exciting opportunity to join an established business at a time of growth.

Having recently secured investment from a leading private equity firm they are set to grow the business organically and by acquisition over the next three years.

Working directly for the CFO you will run the day to day financial aspects of the business, building a team and function to support the growth.

You will be responsible for:

• Manage all company accounts
• Drive financial and KPI reporting and improvements
• Evaluate current systems and review new financial systems for global implementation
• Own the annual statutory reporting process
• Consolidation of subsidiary company accounts
• Develop a budget and financial planning process plan for the Group
• Review all financial plans and budgets driving cost and margin improvements
• Provide commercial business partnering support for the country MD’s
• Support the CFO and the Board on key projects including margin performance, customer value, pricing analysis and contract negotiation
• Manage country cash flow and oversee treasury management
• Motivate and lead the finance team
• Assist the CFO in presenting to stakeholders and board members

Candidates will be

• A qualified Accountant
• Experience of working in a software and/or technology is essential.
• Experience of working in a private equity backed organisation is desirable
• Experience of working in an international group of companies is essential

• A hands-on attitude with initiative is essential
• Ability to manage and mentor small teams
• Strong attention to detail and focus on getting it right first time
• Knowledge of excel tools is essential and a thorough understanding of accounting software is highly desirable
• Strong inter personal skills with the ability to build relationships across the Group and externally
