The SOX project is part of ambitious plans that require further dedicated resource to enable the acceleration of the project activities. The role will report to the Head of Internal Audit / SOX.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Lead and actively promote and communicate SOX compliance strategy
- Proactively monitor and assess financial controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
- Propose and implement processes, policies and procedures to remove or mitigate risk/gaps
- Maintain the SOX training program and ensure training is executed across the business
- Maintain and develop SOX documentation
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Extensive business experience including experience in a SOX compliance role of Big4 firm or US listed business
- Strong project management skills
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as ability to business partner across various levels of seniority
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA accountant
