The successful applicant will be responsible for their own portfolio of high net worth private clients which will involve all aspects of compliance, reviewing of the work of more junior staff and assisting with planning projects.

Description

As Private Client Tax Assistant Manager the work includes:

  • Preparation and review of self-assessment returns, ATED/NRCGT returns, tax computations, CGT computations on the disposal of securities, chattels and property.
  • Assisting with planning and all related aspects of looking after the complex tax affairs of a variety of high net worth private clients.
  • The role provides an excellent range of challenging work for someone with a solid tax background wishing to broaden their experience and advance their career.

    Profile

  • Committed to a career in tax and have relevant experience in general practice, preferably in a mid tier firm environment.
  • Confidence in dealing with Senior leadership and working with clients
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills, and provide accurate work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Motivated, committed and flexible, with the ability to meet deadlines; a natural team player, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Candidates must be CTA-qualified and have an excellent academic record (to at least 'A' level standard or equivalent).
  • Previous experience of using tax return software is assumed, as is use of Outlook, Word and Excel.
