Part Qualified Accountant
South of York
Our client is a leading private equity backed commercial business who are experiencing high levels of growth in a dynamic market. Due to this growth they are now looking to recruit the newly created role of Assistant Accountant to further develop the finance team. This will be a key role within the department and will provide exposure to a wide range of finance functions including managements accounts, financial controls, statutory accounts and tax support. Duties will include;
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including responsibility for the month end journal & account reconciliation process.
Administration and development of the accounting control environment and facilitating cross skilling within the finance function.
Preparation of the monthly Board pack and KPI’s.
Preparation of annual statutory accounts under IFRS.
Corporation tax & VAT support.
Providing additional reporting & analysis as required.
You will be part qualified with ideally 3 years of relevant experience in preparing management accounts and maintaining financial controls. You will have experience of working as part of a team and managing workloads to meet strict deadlines. Experience of Sage 200 is desirable but not essential. This role will suit an experienced and highly motivated individual who is looking to continue their professional development and add real value to the business.
Salary guide £22000 - £28000 plus study support, 25 days holiday and free parking
