Corporate Tax Senior

An independent Accountancy Practice in Stockport require a Corporate Tax Senior to join the firm's Tax Department.

Within this role you will ensure the company client portfolios and tax affairs are up to date and ensure the correct corporation tax is paid in a timely fashion. You will be reviewing and preparing corporation tax computations whilst assisting the corporation tax manager in completing their tasks and supervising the corporation tax assistant.

Key duties of the role include completing corporation tax reviews and professional practice computation reviews, clearing tax queries with managers and clients, dealing with all types of corporation tax correspondence, reviewing correspondence from other members of the team, reviewing returns prior to submission and ad-hoc work for Corporation Tax Director.

The successful candidate will ideally have an appropriate Accountancy qualification and be training towards CTA or equivalent. You will have experience of a corporation tax return cycle and sound knowledge of UK corporate taxation. Finally you will be able to work under pressure, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a strong attention to detail.
