Senior Cost Accountant

An International organisation based in Berkshire is seeking a hands on Senior Cost Accountant that will work with a complex manufacturing environment, generating insight into the performance of the business. Cost is a real focus for this role, you will have a good solid understanding of complex cost bases and be able to strip them back for a simpler way of working. Manufacturing accounting experience is paramount. You must have previously challenged and reviewed a bill of materials (BoMs).

The Senior Cost Accountant must have strong finance analytical skills around Opex, be confident with budgeting and forecasting, whilst having strong business acumen to understand cost drivers and maximise profitability. You understand technical details of how to allocate costs around the business.

The ideal candidate will be strong at liaising with financial and non-financial business partners. Be competent with SAP in the project module and the successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) once again Manufacturing experience is essential to be considered for this role
