I am currently working with a blue chip organisation in central london who are looking to bring on a Global Analyst. Reporting into the Global Process Owner, this role requires a talented and experienced individual to hit the ground running for a global business.
Role
- Engage with regional FTP counterparts during localisation, create, prepare, go-live and operate phases to ensure adherence to the global model and understand causes of potential localisations
- Promote global processes across all markets using the AX platform
- Lead and support market Fit/Change workshops and undertake “As-Is” vs “To-Be” gap analyses to determine changes required to business processes or solution design
- Document business requirements and work with other Programme streams as required to ensure the successful development of the AX solution
- Ensure governance procedures are adhered to for proposed localisations; assess any changes required and present proposals to the Design Authority
- Carry out impact analyses for any change requests
- Provide training content to support the preparation and review of training materials
- Define use cases for the creation of UAT test scripts
- Advise on business readiness impacts to support Change Management for local market deployments
- Build collaborative relationships throughout the entirety of projects with all levels of staff
- Ensure that approved changes are incorporated into the global process design and ensure that processes are designed so as to provide an adequate control environment
- Ensure all process documentation relating to the global AX process is kept up-to-date, including training materials and approved localisations
- Work with third party process outsource partner in preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and alignment to AX process documentation
Key Accountabilities & Outcomes
- Drive process consistency across AX markets both within the system and in connected processes.
- Ensure global AX processes are properly implemented within Operational Finance shared service centres.
- Contribute to successful deployment of AX into markets in line with the Programme roadmap.
- Build strong relationships with regional CFOs, market CFOs and regional Operational Finance Directors ensuring high levels of buy in and confidence in the AX platform.
- Lead the governance mechanisms for the in-market finance super user community and regional support analysts
Personal Specification
- Significant experience of global ERP implementations essential – must have gone through the full project lifecycle of an ERP deploy, preferably multiple times
- Considerable R2R/O2C/P2P experience
- Significant experience of process improvement in a large multinational organisation
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX would be an advantage
- Experience of working in the Media industry would be an advantage
- Experience of working in project-based/professional services businesses would be an advantage
- Strong experience & track record of working with third party outsource providers
- Experience of working in a highly fluid matrix organisation
- Positive “can-do” attitude and comfortable managing ambiguity
- Self-starter able to deliver agreed objectives with minimal oversight
- Ability to work independently, proactively and in a team setting.
