UK Financial Controller

Frazer John Recruitment Finance division is exclusively recruiting for a Financial Controller on behalf of a market leading, global organisation. This is a permanent opportunity based in central Manchester, ideal for an experienced or developing Financial Controller looking to fast track their career to Finance Director.

The Financial Controller will be accountable for:

• Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the finance function becomes embedded in the business and provides value adding and innovative commercial financial advice
• Managing a team of 10+ in the finance operations areas
• Overseeing financial accounting processes and procedures including the monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasting and budgets
• Provision of support to the group finance team for the year end and half year accounts and audit process
• Establishing and reviewing processes/controls across your £250m+ turnover P&L
• Assisting in identifying business needs and alternative financial solutions, continually developing procedures and processes with a view to improve the business's performance
• Improving several different current procedures and visibility of information to management
• Liaising with the company's auditors and being the key contact during the annual audit
• Conducting effective performance development plans, mentoring and developing your team

You must be qualified ACA or ACCA but exceptional CIMA candidates would be considered. Having experience within practice or within an international or regulated environment would be beneficial but not is essential. You must also have a strong academic record.
