Our company client is an innovative and exciting service based business who are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and articulate Finance Manager to join their talented team based in Lancashire. This is a newly created role, that has arisen due to expansion within the team. This is an outstanding opportunity to achieve a highly lucrative and rewarding career.
The successful candidate will undertake the following duties:
* Reconcile VAT accounts and prepare and submit VAT returns
* Prepare management accounts to deadline
* Prepare statutory accounts and a supporting year-end audit file
* Liaise with external stakeholders including general managers, customers, suppliers, auditors and banks
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Strong analytical skills with ability to translate date into recommendations to make strategic business decisions.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and influence people at all levels within the business
* Previous experience in a broad finance position
