External Reporting Controller

A well known Investment and Wealth management firm are looking for a Controller to join them in there external reporting team. You will act as the deputy to the head of reporting and lead the team to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to all the external stakeholders.

This is a great role for someone with strong technical and stakeholder management skills who is either looking to make the step up in terms of role or make a move to a larger organisation in which you can take on more responsibility and improve your career development.

You main responsibilities would include:

Production of the Group annual and interim report and accounts prepared under IFRS

• Reviewing and signing off of the tax computations and returns prepared by a third party provider.
• Reviewing and sign-off of the Group's quarterly VAT returns.
• Assist the Risk and Compliance teams in the preparation of the ICAAP and other regulatory deliverables.
• Review and sign-off the Group's and subsidiaries' regulatory returns prepared under COREP and submission to the FCA.

The successful Candidate will:

• A qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA or Equivalent) with relevant post qualified experience within financial services
• Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels.
• Good technical accounting knowledge.
• Effective communicator both written and verbal.
