My client, a global Media business based in Central London are looking for a Financial Controller in a newly created role.

Reporting to the Finance Director this role has the following objectives:


  • Ensure the timely delivery of accurate and insightful financial information which enables managers to understand financial performance and to make better decisions and help deliver the budget and five year plan.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and implement improvements to processes and systems which improve control, effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage and coach the members of the accounting team to help them develop, and to build a culture of team-working and excellence.
  • Lead all financial planning and reporting processes for areas above.

    • This is a role with a significant outward facing interaction with the business, providing Directors and Managers with financial reporting and analysis, and assisting them in the preparation of forecasts and budgets.

    You will need to be a qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with siginificant post qualified experience managing teams and delivering in a complex, fast paced and dynamic environment.
