Tax Senior - Part Time or Full Time Mansfield

A well-established independent firm of accountants are recruiting an experienced tax professional for the role of Tax Senior to join the firms Mansfield office, Nottinghamshire.

My client offers a full range of accounting and taxation services to a varied client portfolio of small to medium sized owner managed businesses. They have developed a strong reputation as a client service lead business, which has been pivotal in their success and allowed for growth and expansion of the business.

The Role

Working within a highly supportive environment, the role of Mixed Tax Senior will work across a highly varied client portfolio. Main duties and responsibilities include:

* Assisting members of the Corporate Business Services Department with technical tax support.
* Corporate Tax compliance, including reviewing accounts files and draft computations, sending letters with computations and returns out to clients for review and submissions of returns to HMRC.
* Preparing Personal and Trust Self-Assessment Tax Returns including some accounts preparation.
* Managing own portfolio of clients, building strong working relationships.
* Collate key information and carry out basic Corporate Tax compliance checks for review by the Corporate Tax Manager.
* Track Corporate Tax Computations through each stage of the process.
* Assists Personal Tax Department to deliver an effective, all round tax service to clients including IHT, PAYE and NIC.

The Person

The successful candidate will either be qualified by experience or ACCA/ACA/ATT/CTA qualified and experienced in both Corporate and Personal Tax matters.
