Senior Management Accountant

The Senior Management Accountant will be directly responsible for all activities required to finalise the month/quarter/year-end management accounts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for integrity of all accounting data and the production of standard reports. The incumbent will interact with senior stakeholders within the business and play a pivotal role in decision making processes.

Description

Key Roles, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities:

• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant production cost information
• Develop and provide inventory reporting and analysis
• Provide financial analysis for management decisions that improves business performance
• Create financial transparency to all stakeholders
• Drive improvements in the manufacturing and process accounting processes
• Support the financial planning and budgeting processes
• Perform special projects and analytical support for various functions and levels of management within the Business
• Ensure all accounting activities are performed within the environment of established internal controls
• Responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement measures within own team and for raising similar opportunities across end-to-end, Accounting processes.
• Manage a team of up to 3 direct reports

Profile

Before applying for this role, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• circa 3 years post qualification experience
• Experienced in management accounts
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience of managing a small/large team
• Excellent communicator / strong systems user
