Accountant

Peterborough: Cambridgeshire:- The One Group have been engaged to recruit an Accountant ( management and financial), for an established, growing Peterborough business.

Key duties include:

- Calculation of all month end accounting adjustments to include accruals, prepayments and provisions for bad debt.
- Accurate calculation of month end income figures to include production of third party statements.
- Production of draft monthly management accounts pack
- Production of cost centre analysis reports
- Provision of information required for preparation of statutory accounts
- Liaison with external auditors as required
- Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including bank and cash
- Accurate and timely production of regulatory reporting
- Accurate and timely production of VAT returns

Suitable applicants will be part qualified/finalist/ qualified accountants, with a pro-active nature and enquiring mind.
Strong excel skills and be a confident communicator
