Management Accountant

The SF Group are currently recruiting a Management Accountant for our Birmingham based client for circa 12 months. The successful applicant will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and budgets, liaising with operational departments to ensure awareness of actual verses budget, and accountable for their funds. You will also be responsible for producing and maintaining project based information and financial analysis as required in order to assist decision making and accountability. Building strong and successful relationships with non-financial staff is essential, to ensure open communication between finance and other departments.

This is a great opportunity for an ACCA/CIMA part qualified accountant (or equivalent), who has management reporting experience, along with financial analysis, relationship building and influencing skills. Excel knowledge to an intermediate level is essential as well as exceptional communication skills especially when conveying finance issues to non-financial people. The applicant will be open minded, well organised and be able to work to tight deadlines. My client is on the look out for a confident business partner who can interpret complex financial information and report the same to stakeholders.
