Finance Director

About the Finance Director role:

In this newly created Finance Director role you will be play a key role in settling and implementing the business strategy both domestically and internationally. As the most senior person in finance you will be responsible for the day to day management of the finance, budgeting and accounting functions.


Key Responsibilities:

* Oversees, directs, and participates in major activities and programs of the Operations Department, including finance, investment and cash management, budgeting, and accounting
* Responsible for providing executive decision support to Managing Director
* Responsible for managing day-to-day affairs of the global Finance team, including line management of 3 with a wider team of 12
* Participates in the development and implementation business strategy and overall commercial direction
* Assists in managing annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Leads Due Diligence and prepare business cases for potential acquisition targets
* Prepares and presents annual accounts to the shareholders
* Analyses key client deals and driving an increase in margin where possible
* Reviews rate cards and ensuring they are correct

With a strong and successful agency background you will be well used to working in a fast paced and creative environment. Exposure to a similar role in the media space is critical and as such excellent communication and the ability to challenge gracefully are required. You will also need to be sensitive to diverse cultures as the role has a global presence. Having the ability to develop business strategy and implement it throughout is essential, which will give you the opportunity to help set the direction of the business and lead it in its next growth phase.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent), with experience at director level ideally in an agency. Strong systems and excel skills are a must with a desire to succeed and help drive a business forward.
