Senior Management Accountant - Process Improvement
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-known retail business based in North London. The role is an initial 6 month contract for a Senior Management Accountant who has significant experience of process improvement and streamlining of processes.
Key responsibilities include:
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-known retail business based in North London. The role is an initial 6 month contract for a Senior Management Accountant who has significant experience of process improvement and streamlining of processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Help build a full suite of new and improved reports including Board Pack
- Work closely with current management accountant to ensure accounting processes are accurate and robust.
- Streamline all processes through simplification and automation to ultimately reduce the month end process from 30 to 15 days.
- Establish, re-write and communicate new processes and month end timetables with internal stakeholders.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
- Significant experience in producing full management accounts
- Excellent excel and general systems skills
- Experience of process improvement and an understanding of project management
- Retail or FMCG experience beneficial.
