Senior Accountant - £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits - Surrey


Wade Macdonald are partnering with a global listed Manufacturing organisation who are in the process of setting up a share service centre.

They are looking for a Senior Accountant to take full responsible for all transactions in the general ledger within the UK financial shared services team. This is up to and including statutory accounts, VAT, tax returns and reporting. This will include all general ledger journals, accruals, fixed asset register and other adjustments. The recruitment and day to day management of the general ledger team.

The Senior Accountant will ensure compliance with the companies accounting policies, as well as compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. assist internal and external audits including the preparation of audit schedules and auditor requests. You will have full accountability for balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Financial Operations and Shared Services and ensure efficient and effective processing of general ledger transactions for the UK. Review existing processes, structures, and systems with a focus on simplifying standardisation. Oversee financial reporting and transaction processing. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and all local tax and statutory reporting requirements and manage month-end in the shared services environment.

Our client seeks a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with a minimum of 3 years' experience in finance and accounting, with some shared services centre experience.
