6-9 month opportunity for a financial accountant to join a high growth division of a market leading Group. The office location is just outside Nottingham however you will be home based.

Description

Supporting the FD, this is a varied accounting roles encompassing;

• Assist in production of the central and consolidated monthly reporting pack
• Monthly performance reporting for board reports
• Providing directors and managers with accurate and timely management information and analysis
• Co-ordination and production of monthly and annual business planning reporting packs
• Preparation of central monthly management accounts and variance analysis
• Updating, maintaining and producing reports via SAP and Forecasting system
• Analysis of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and KPI information
• Managing financial processes e.g. debtors, WIP, accruals, CAPEX, working capital, procurement
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and group requirements - implement processes and controls
• Providing an interface between group finance, other group divisions and the business unit directors.
• Journal preparation, input and month end reconciliations (P&L/balance sheet/payroll etc).
• Production of ad-hoc analytical support on a full range of financial issues

Profile

Qualified or QBE accountant with a broad financial accounting skill set and strong stakeholder management ability.
