My client, a market leading specialist manufacturing organisation based in Warrington, is looking to recruit a Product Analyst to join their growing finance team. The main purpose of the role is to provide accurate product costs for new & existing products, along with maintaining standard costing infrastructure within the business’ ERP / accounting systems
The ideal candidate will be CIMA / ACCA part-qualified with previous experience within a manufacturing organisation, reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the following key tasks;
- Financial appraisal of new initiatives and projects and projects
- Ongoing maintenance of product costs within the ERP system
- Post production evaluation of costings and contractual performance
- Provision of ad-hoc commercial analysis around Cost of Goods
- To provide support to the budget and forecasting process on standard costs of goods
- Development and subsequent ongoing maintenance of the new product development costing database
- Provision of costing support to the business
- Supporting the Financial controller in monthly management accounts production
- Proactively seeking new ways of working to improve efficiencies in the department
