Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a fantastic opportunity for a Client Senior/Manager to join an expansive Practise based in Bath. Paying between £30,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits.
The Role
My client is looking for a commercially focused, Finalist/Qualified ACCA/ACA to join their team and become an integral member of the business with views of progression moving forward.
You will work closely with clients to help improve processes both financially and through IT system consultation. This standalone approach adopted by the client will make this role varied and diverse and provide the successful candidate an opportunity not seen by other practices in the area.
You will have the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients and progress through the firm by managing and developing this portfolio as well as looking after junior staff meaning that you get to take on more responsibility and develop your career.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing and developing a client portfolio
- Liaise with clients working closely to discuss system improvement opportunities alongside their Account reports.
- Statutory and Management Accounts preparation
- Corporate and Personal Tax computations and returns
- VAT returns
- Planning and completion meetings for Audit assignments as well as leading teams on site
- Managing and reviewing the work of junior staff
- Identifying planning and advisory opportunities and providing these to clients if possible
- Managing and developing a client portfolio
Essential Skills
- Commercial Minded
- Practice Experience Essential
- Finalist/Qualified ACCA/ACA
- External Audit experience preferable
