Finance and Business Manager

Working in a newly established Multi School Academy Trust, you will have responsibility for all Financial Processes, Budget Creation and monitoring etc.

You will report directly into the Group FD but be the business face of the trust.

Client Details

The Trust is based in Oxford and administers 5 separate educational establishments, all based in and around Oxford. They would require you to have direct interaction with the school managers, as such a rotation of travelling around Oxford to different sites is required, however, these are all within a 10 mile radius of Oxford.

There is an interesting amount of technical duties available for the role and it would suit anyone looking to progress in their career that is in the mid to late stages of CIMA/ACCA. AAT Qualified candidates will also be considered.

Description

As the Finance and Business Manager you will be responsible for the effective financial control, proper accounting practice and accurate reporting of the Trust's resources. You will work as a key manager in the central finance team liaising with and providing support to the schools within the Trust.

Profile

Ideally the Finance and Business Manager will be able to display a background in creating and monitoring budgets as well as ideally some exposure to the education sector.

An ability to influence and communicate non finance staff is also as this will be a strong aspect of the position.
