Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant for a well established manufacturing business in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is keen to further their career and experience within the Finance industry.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be instrumental in providing effective day to day accounts support across all aspects of the finance department.
Duties will include:
-Purchase Ledger
-Sales Ledger duties and Credit Control
-Running monthly statements
-Assisting with month end processes and producing monthly reports
- Daily banking
- Credit Control and cash allocation to accounts
- Assisting with updating the cashbook
To be successful you MUST have the following skills and attributes:
- 1-2 years relevant experience in accounts
- Flexible approach to work
- Good attention to detail
- Good Administration and organisational skills
- Team player
- IT literate
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to build rapport
- Able to work to tight deadlines, acting on own initiative is also very important

They are seeking somebody with the ability to grow in the role in order to progress into other areas of accounts in the future. You will of course be given appropriate training and support to undertake and fulfil the role properly.
