Accountant

This market leading Fin-tech business based in the City is looking to recruit a newly qualified accountant into its growing finance team. Reporting into the Financial Controller.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Perform month end activities, produce monthly accounts and periodic external financial reporting
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• CASS Reporting
• Financial analysis and analytical review of management and financial accounts
• Support key financial controls including Purchase Order system and Balance Sheet attestations
• Perform Balance sheet reconciliations for central functions, and review and test attestation for other divisions
• Responsible for costs are allocated correctly to divisions and cost centres
• Improve controls and efficiency with regards to the cost collection and reporting
• Manage challenging and complex stakeholder relationships
• Ad-hoc projects

In order to be considered for this role, it is essential to have the following:

• Year End Accounting experience
• Budgeting and forecasting
• ACA/CA /ACCA/ CIMA qualified -Extensive Financial Reporting experience
• Experience in preparing Statutory Accounts under GAAP and IFRS
• FS experience
