My client, a boutique retailer who has experienced year on year growth, are currently recruiting for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Financial Controller to join their friendly and outgoing team. Based south of Manchester city centre, the business offers free parking and operates from a vibrant office space that also includes a design studio. This is a great place to work. It's fun - and whilst not a corporate environment, there are high demands on the business. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in Management Accounting, the ability to develop two Accounts Assistants and be able to demonstrate initiative, drive, ambition and a calm and measured approach.

There are two distinct businesses within the company - and both are seeing continued growth across their retail channels, online sales and export market. The result of this success is an exciting opening for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Management Accountant to join the team in the role of Financial Controller. The successful candidate will report directly to the Directors of the business, one of whom is a Qualified Accountant and a proven mentor with a great commercial track record. You will have full accounting responsibility for the business including monthly Management Accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet and Sales Analysis), as well as a variety of commercial duties. There will also be increased opportunities to strategically support the Directors with commercial developments.
